Tens of thousands of Hungarians took to the streets of Budapest as Prime Minister Orbán and opposition leader Péter Magyar held rival marches ahead of the April 12 election.
Orbán framed the vote as a choice between war and peace, while Magyar criticized the campaign as propaganda, focusing on Hungary’s future in the EU and cautious policy on Ukraine.
