Freed Polish-Belarusian journalist Andrzej Poczobut said he does not feel like a hero, describing himself as an ordinary person who tried to do the right thing. Shortly after Poczobut’s release in a prisoner exchange, he received Poland’s highest state honor, the Order of the White Eagle, in recognition of his work for human rights and the Polish minority in Belarus.
