On the night of July 21, the Rostov region of Russia was attacked by drones. Local telegram channels reported this. As a result of strikes by Ukrainian kamikaze drones, the roof of the railway station in the Kamenolomny settlement caught fire. Workers in the building were evacuated. There were no casualties, it is said. The governor of the region, Yury Slusar, said that drones had been shot down over several residential areas, and that the debris that fell to the ground had caused a fire.
According to Yury Slyusar, drones were destroyed in Novoshakhtinsk, Shakhty and Novocherkassk.
"In the village of Kamenolomni in the Oktyabrsky rural district, the roof of the railway station caught fire due to the fall of drone debris. Three people were evacuated from the control room. According to preliminary reports, none of the people were injured," said Slyusar. According to the Russian media, the railway station was damaged as a result of the strike. It is noted that the railway section near this urban-type settlement is used to transport military supplies for transfer to Ukraine.
"Kamenolomni is another major railway junction on the southern route," the media noted. Amid reported Ukrainian drone attacks on Russia, a fire broke out at a train station in the village of Kamenolomni in Rostov Oblast overnight July 21 as Moscow faced drones for the fifth straight night, Mayor Sergey Sobyanin reported.
In Moscow, a total of five drones attacking Russia’s capital were shot down by air defense, Sobyanin reported.
"Two drones attacking Moscow were shot down. Emergency service specialists are working at the crash site," he said.

Two drones were shot down outside of Moscow as well, Sobyanin first said minutes before midnight on July 20.
Moscow’s Domodedovo and Zhukovsky airports have temporary flight restrictions imposed amid the drone attack, a spokesperson for Russia’s state aviation agency Rosaviatsia said on July 21. Russia says that during the last night of July 21, 74 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles of the aircraft type were intercepted and destroyed by the on-duty means of air defense: 23 UAVs over the territory of the Moscow region, including 15 UAVs flying to Moscow, 14 UAVs over the territory of the Kursk region, 12 UAVs over the territory of Rostov region, 10 UAVs over the territory of Bryansk region, 10 UAVs over the territory of the Kaluga region, 4 UAVs over the territory of Tula region, 1 UAV over the territory of Lipetsk region.
