An anti-government protester has pulled down the flag of the Islamic Republic from outside of the Iranian embassy building in London, UK. In its place, the demonstrator hoisted a flag bearing the lion and sun emblem, which was the official flag before the 1979 Islamic Revolution. The crowd outside of the embassy cheered as the flag of Iran was replaced. Video of the protester climbing the embassy building to tear down the regime’s flag went viral in social media. The mass protests in Iran have spread outside of the country with mass crowds of people taking to the streets across Europe and chanting anti-government slogans. Meanwhile, Iranian media reported that at least 200 “leaders” of protest groups have been arrested. According to these reports, during the operations to detain them, large quantities of weapons, ammunition, grenades, and Molotov cocktails were seized from the locations where protest organizers were hiding. In another development, Iranian hacker group Handala announced that it has revealed the identities of 600 individuals allegedly linked to Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. The suspects are accused of being involved in organizing the unrest and fuelling the protests. The group published several posts on social media, claiming to have uncovered the identity of an agent coordinating Mossad operations in Iran, adding that it would release further sensitive information. The published report states that the disclosed names include several well-known public figures.
