Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday that Ukraine might be facing "risks to deliveries" of air defense systems to Ukraine amid the conflict in the Middle East.
"Due to the war in Iran, there are risks to deliveries of these supplies to Ukraine, and I thank all our partners who are ready to help and find ways to resolve this," Zelenskyy said during his daily briefing.
According to Associated Press speaking about his meeting with the King of Sweden Carl XVI Gustaf in Lviv, Zelenskyy stressed that the Swedish monarch’s visit marked "an important gesture of respect to the people of Ukraine", adding that Ukraine and Sweden have many areas of cooperation.
"We are preparing to expand our combat aviation fleet with Gripen aircraft and are working on this in detail," he added.
