Russian Z-channel, which is linked to the Northern Group of Russian Forces, claimed that North Korean troops had been redeployed to the second line of defense along the state border in the Kursk region to replace the Russian troops previously guarding the border. The channel claimed that North Korean troops were poorly trained, impulsive, and unaware of the complexities of border operations, while Russian troops were disoriented by North Korean minelaying and mine-clearing methods. All this indicates that Ukraine will attack Kursk again.
The war correspondent claimed that Kim’s troops are also participating in mine clearance operations in the Kursk region together with units of the Russian 89th, 90th and 91st sapper-engineer regiments. According to him, the Russian units operating in the Tetkinsk direction have poor coordination and are unable to organize strikes on Ukrainian positions in this area. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are encircling Putin’s army in Oleksiyivka. This situation strongly resembles the retreat of the Russian Armed Forces from Kondratovka. The Z-public is sure that Putin’s army is fleeing from Oleksiyivka as well. Here defense lines are destroyed by Ukrainian counterattack. The military correspondent stated that the Russian military command will redeploy units of the 2nd and 3rd battalions of the 30th motorized rifle regiment to Oleksiyivka in order to strengthen Russian positions in the area and prevent "complete encirclement" by Ukrainian troops. Holding Oleksiyivka by Russian troops is unrealistic, but at the same time, the Russian military command will continue to use Russian forces to conduct extremely exhausting offensives in order to maintain the appearance of operational stability in the Sumy region. After occupying most of Yunakovka, Putin’s army abruptly switched to defensive battles.
At present Ukrainian troops are holding defenses on this line and are carrying out preparations for offensive actions to push back the enemy. As a result, the Armed Forces liberated the settlement of Andriivka and advanced in the area of Oleksiivka, and the enemy was pushed further away from Sumy.
At the same time, the Russians have deployed their best forces in this area. This includes marines, paratroopers, and the most combat-ready units of motorized rifle troops. The enemy also actively uses long-range artillery, attack drones, and aviation – the occupiers are trying to push our troops out of the Kursk and Belgorod regions.
