Quantum Systems Developed Shahed-Like RAT Decoy Drone and Working on Strike Version

The German company Quantum Systems has developed the “Shahed-like” RAT decoy drone for training interceptor drone crews.

Oleksandr Berezhny, managing director of Quantum Systems in Ukraine, shared this in an interview with Militarnyi.

“What is missing in Germany right now? The ability to train on ‘Shaheds,’ so to speak. Accordingly, we developed a system that is already flying,” he shared.

This decoy is designed to train other drone models and to enhance interception capabilities.

At the same time, specialists are working on a kamikaze drone version based on the decoy. There is a version of the drone with a jet engine and an internal combustion engine.

The Quantum Systems representative added that the company plans to manufacture hundreds of such devices this year, but does not intend to launch production in Ukraine just yet.

In February, Quantum Systems unveiled a previously unknown UAV, which turned out to be a jet-powered version of the RAT.
