Quantum Systems Integrates Archer FPV Drones into Reliant UASs

Quantum Systems is integrating new Archer FPV drones, developed by Neros Technologies, onto its uncrewed aerial systems (UAS).

According to Counter Unmanned Systems, the Archer FPV drones will be mounted on the Reliant Group 2+ UAS – a vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) fixed-wing platform.

The Reliant features hardpoints on each wing, allowing it to carry additional electronic modules and to mount and deploy munitions or other payloads.

Once mounted on the Reliant’s hardpoints, the system expands mission capabilities, transforming the drone into a strike-reconnaissance platform. However, the drone is currently aimed at the U.S. market.

“Reliant with hardpoints is a design intended for the U.S. market. Integration of such hardpoints for the European market is not currently planned, but it could be implemented if sufficient demand arises,” Quantum Systems clarified.

Reliant is an uncrewed aerial system that combines long endurance (up to 10 hours of flight time) with the ability to be rapidly deployed without the need for a runway.

The maximum flight range is up to 160 kilometers.

Meanwhile, the Archer FPV developed by Neros Technologies is a U.S.-made, combat-proven FPV platform capable of carrying up to 2 kilograms of payload over distances exceeding 20 kilometers.

“One of our key partners is Neros – the U.S. manufacturer of Archer FPV drones – with whom we work closely both in Ukraine and the United States,” Quantum Systems summarized.

In Ukraine, the company uses the SPARTA carrier drone, which is equipped with payload attachment points on both sides of the wing.

“SPARTA is currently being developed in Ukraine with consideration of specific requirements and frontline conditions,” the company Quantum Systems shared with Militarnyi.

The company emphasized that such cooperation enables coordination and optimization of the technical processes for integrating weapon systems.
