The Ukrainian Defense Forces have denied Russian claims of occupation of the town of Rodynske in the Pokrovsk district of the Donetsk region.
This was stated by the 14th Ivan Bohun Operational Brigade Chervona Kalyna of Ukrainian National Guard on Monday, October 27.
The brigade noted that the Russians have once again announced the ‘capture’ of a settlement controlled by Ukrainian defenders.
“At the moment, they only control the amount of ammunition of a few infantrymen who have entered the outskirts of the town,” the statement said.
The brigade, which is part of the 1st Azov Corps of Ukrainian National Guard also published a video in which the crew of the Jaguar special unit’s APC destroyed Russian infantry, which was holed up in the abandoned buildings of Rodynske.
It is noted that the 14th Chervona Kalyna Brigade’s fighters continue to clear the town of the invaders. Rodynske is under the control of the Defense Forces.
“We are searching for and eliminating all those who want to install the ‘tricolor’ on Ukrainian soil,” the brigade added.
