Recently, it became known that the Russian army had once again tried to intimidate Ukraine by staging maneuvers in Crimea. The occupiers created the appearance of moving military equipment to the Kherson region, supposedly to force the Dnieper. In reality, the enemy was driving trucks and armored vehicles back and forth between Feodosia and Dzhankoy, wasting fuel. " Unnecessary activity helped to identify the occupiers’ equipment sites ," the Atesh Telegram channel reported .
The published video shows the movement of columns of equipment across Crimea . The collected data has already been transferred to the Ukrainian Armed Forces; new precise strikes on the enemy are expected in the near future. "Our agents recorded active movement of military engineering equipment between Feodosiya and Dzhankoy. The occupiers are spreading false information claiming that the equipment is heading to the Kherson region to prepare for a Dnipro River crossing," Atesh stated.
“This unnecessary activity helped Atesh agents identify locations where the occupiers’ engineering vehicles are stationed. The collected intelligence has already been passed on to the Ukrainian Defense Forces to support accurate planning and successful strikes against the enemy,” the partisan movement added. Atesh partisans recently destroyed a vehicle in the Henichesk district of Crimea that belonged to Russian troops and was equipped for drone operations and electronic warfare.
Furthermore, the partisans previously identified weak spots in the defense of Balaklava Bay in Crimea and carried out a successful sabotage operation on a newly built railway section.
Russia has illegally occupied Crimea since 2014, transforming the peninsula into a heavily militarized stronghold to support its war against Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces have repeatedly targeted the peninsula with missiles and drones since the outbreak of the full-scale war in 2022. Most recently, Ukrainian drones attacked an ammunition depot used by Russia’s 126th Coastal Defense Brigade near the village of Perevalne. Moscow has used the Ukrainian peninsula, which it seized in 2014, to launch attacks on the country, including its full-scale invasion in February 2022. People living in Crimea can be prosecuted for any connection to or sign of support for Ukraine. To leave and enter occupied Crimea, residents must pass through so-called filtration camps, where they are interrogated and often subjected to severe psychological distress. Their belongings, including smartphones, tablets and laptops, are thoroughly searched.
