Despite a declared ceasefire, Russian forces attacked the Kharkiv region with Molniya kamikaze drones.
The attack was reported by the local Kharkiv life | Kharkiv Telegram channel.
One drone struck the technical floor of a nine-story residential building in the Industrial District of Kharkiv, injuring five people, including children.
According to the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, on May 8 the Russian military also shelled 17 settlements across the Kharkiv region.

The attacks were carried out using two Geran-2 drones, three Lancet drones, seven Molniya drones, four FPV drones, and 16 other unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.
Militarnyi previously reported that as of 10:30 a.m. on May 9, Russia was adhering to a ceasefire in the use of long-range strike drones.
