Ukranian journalist Denis Kazansky published a new video analyzing the latest statements by Russian propagandists. In it, he pointed to growing discontent among the so-called "elite" within Russia. On a propaganda show on a Russian federal channel, panelists displayed clear irritation at years of propaganda claims about Ukraine’s imminent defeat. TV presenter Norkin openly expressed dissatisfaction with the repeated claims about Ukraine’s "exhaustion" that have been repeated for over four years. "You see, I’m running out of patience, you understand that already? Actually, you should be running out of patience too ," Norkin said irritably. During the discussion, it was noted that such predictions are constantly being made, but they are not being confirmed. At the same time, the participants in the broadcast effectively acknowledged that Ukraine continues to receive all the necessary support, while Russia lacks any effective tools to stop it.
According to Kazansky, such statements indicate a growing crisis of trust in official Moscow and its propaganda. Recently, even the propagandists themselves have been at odds with each other over the stalemate at the front. Prior to this, propagandist Ilya Remeslo suddenly declared the collapse of Russian statehood. After being discharged from a psychiatric hospital for harshly criticizing Putin, Russian propagandist Ilya Remeslo continued to criticize the regime and published a novena statement on his Telegram channel , in which he effectively explained his break with his previous position of support for the government. Remeslo stated that Russia has changed so much that his previous political convictions have lost their meaning: the Russia he supported from 2014 to 2021 “no longer exists.” He noted that previously, there had been no full-scale war with Ukraine, no strict internet blockages, and no such large-scale repression, and the economy had maintained relative stability. "I defended a state that no longer exists. Therefore, I have no obligation to support the president now," Remeslo wrote. Remeslo also addressed critics who accuse him of abruptly changing his position, arguing that pressuring people who try to distance themselves from the government plays into the Kremlin’s hands. He added that many people connected to the state want to openly express their position but fear criminal prosecution and public harassment. Previously, Remeslo was considered an active supporter of the government and was involved in scandals involving denunciations and public attacks on Kremlin opponents. His hospitalization after criticizing Putin caused a widespread stir in the Russian media and became the subject of discussions about possible pressure on public figures who change their positions. Putin is increasingly being criticized and that the Remeslo "rebellion" is a conspiracy. Russian sociologist and political emigrant Igor Eidman writes: "Vladimir Putin is not a legitimate president. Vladimir Putin must resign and be brought to justice as a war criminal and thief. Do you think I, a ‘foreign agent’ and ‘extremist,’ wrote this? No, it was written by a patriot, Putin’s paid propagandist and informer, Ilya Remeslo, from Russia. Do you think he saw the light and wrote this of his own free will? Of course not." Craft never did anything in his life without very generous pay and security guarantees. Who could pay him and provide such guarantees? Only members of Putin’s very elite.
