Tatarstan Police Detain Russian Operators of Orlan-10 Drone

In Tatarstan, police detained Russian military personnel who deployed an Orlan-10 reconnaissance UAV in a field.

The Lenta Novostei Tatarstan media outlet published photos of the detention of four operators.

It is likely that the Russian operators of the Orlan-10 drone went to the field for training without the consent of the local authorities.

“The Orlan-10 is a Russian tactical-level drone used for reconnaissance and artillery fire adjustment.

The immediate reaction of the local police to the appearance of the drone operators was due to the fact that facilities in Tatarstan are regularly attacked by Ukrainian drones.

Recently, for the second time in a week, Ukrainian Security Service attack drones struck the Shahed storage terminal in Tatarstan.
