The fire that broke out at Primorsk Port in Russia’s Leningrad region following a Ukrainian drone attack has been burning for two days. Footage of the blaze has been circulated on local Telegram channels.
It should be noted that Primorsk Port, located on the Baltic Sea about 1,000 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, is Russia’s largest oil-loading port. Its annual oil handling capacity is 40–44 million tons.
The fire started after powerful explosions triggered by Ukrainian drone strikes at the port.
