Russian Z-patriot Igor Strelkov-Girkin assessed the consequences of the war between Israel and Iran for Russia. He admitted that the strikes on Tehran have already destroyed a key logistics route and jeopardized the military supplies of the Russian army. According to war criminal Igor Strelkov, the war that has begun between Israel and Iran promises Russia considerable problems, including at the front, and he outlined in detail the consequences of the conflict: "What does this threaten us with? For us, this threatens two things. The first and most important thing is the termination of our "southern corridor", since we actively supplied oil and other raw materials to India and other countries through Iran. This was a fairly important route for us. Now we are left with only China in the east as a transit route for our products . " He also stressed that as a result of the strikes on Iranian industry, Tehran is unlikely to be able to continue to supply Moscow with weapons and ammunition that were previously delivered to the front: "Iran is being attacked and, losing more and more industrial facilities, will not be able to supply us with the weapons and ammunition that it supplied before, which will also have an impact on the course of military operations . " According to the war criminal, the Israeli attack was not spontaneous. He claims that such an operation would not have been possible without US support: "An attack on Iran has long been planned: I believe that without the permission, coordination and direct support of the United States, Israel would not have done anything like this, especially on such a large scale . " Strelkov also said Israel had "carefully prepared," first by removing the Iranian president who supported Syria and then by taking advantage of the weakened position of Syrian forces. He noted that Syria, having lost Iranian support, was defeated in just a couple of weeks: part of the territory went to Turkey, and strategically important areas to Israel. Now, according to Strelkov, Iran has no more opportunities for a ground operation against Israel without a conflict with Turkey, and this, as he admitted, is "very difficult." In addition, the Z-patriot added that Israel is using its technological superiority and does not expect a serious response from Tehran. However, if Iran does take retaliatory steps, the US may join in and use this as a pretext to defeat Iran. Igor Strelkov is a former Russian FSB officer who played a key role in the occupation of Crimea and the outbreak of war in Donbas. In 2022, he was found guilty of involvement in the downing of flight MH17.
