Ukrainian drones struck Russia’s newest Project 05060 assault landing boats and a Be-12 Chaika anti-submarine aircraft.
The Prymary (Ghosts) unit performed the combat operation in the Crimea area, according to the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine.
These boats and the aircraft were used to protect the waters of Crimea and the Kerch Strait from Ukrainian surface drones.
Overall, during the operation, the following were hit:
- three Project 05060 assault landing boats;
- a hangar used to store Project 05060 assault landing boats;
- a support vessel;
- a Be-12 Chaika anti-submarine amphibious aircraft.
Project 05060 boats were first presented only in 2023 – the Kostroma Ship Mechanical Plant developed them. In 2023–2024, the Russian Navy received three such boats.
The hull of the boat is made of aluminum, while the sides and the wheelhouse are protected with composite armor.
The boat has an overall length of 11.5 m, a beam of 3.2 m, and a midship side height of 1.76 m. The displacement is 8 tonnes light and 11.47 tonnes at full load.
The mean draft at full load displacement is 0.68 m. The crew consists of two personnel and has a capacity of up to 10 troops.

The boat is powered by two diesel engines rated at 450 hp each (according to other data, 417 hp each) and is fitted with two VD-07 waterjets. Maximum speed is up to 40 knots. Fuel capacity is 1,200 liters.
Armament consists of a naval remotely operated Narval-P-12.7 weapon station equipped with a 12.7 mm Kord machine gun.

The boat is also equipped with an OEcN-350 Cyclone electro-optical surveillance and fire-control system, a Gorizont navigation radar station, and a Vosminog (Octopus) expendable countermeasures system.
