Turkish Military Transport Plane Crashes in Georgia

The Turkish Ministry of Defense has reported the crash of a plane that took off from Azerbaijan and was heading to Turkey.

According to the Clash Report, the plane crashed in Georgia.

It is a C-130 military transport aircraft in service with Ankara.

The Turkish side also stated that search and rescue operations have already started in coordination with the Georgian authorities.

The exact number of crew members and the cause of the crash have not yet been disclosed.

The published video shows how the plane’s tail broke off, after which it rapidly lost altitude.

The plane was probably returning to Turkey after delivering weapons or military equipment to Azerbaijan.
