Two Ukrainian assault troops managed to capture eight Russian soldiers. The operation was carried out by soldiers from the 1st Separate Assault Regiment, who showed the entire operation in a video. As a result of reconnaissance, Ukrainian defenders discovered possible enemy penetration into their area of responsibility. A two-man group of Ukrainian assault troops moved toward the dugouts where Russian occupiers were hiding. Approaching them, they practiced coordinated actions, as directed by command, to clear the enemy dugout. The video indicates that Ukrainian soldiers called on the enemy to come out of the dugout, and they responded by opening fire. However, they subsequently began to emerge to surrender to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The assault regiment notes that such a large number of occupiers were captured thanks to the coordinated and effective actions of the Ukrainian defenders. "This is a real example of the clear interaction between intelligence, commanders, and the steely character of the battalion’s fighters," the colonel notes.

The Russian soldier established contact with the Ukrainian side through the "I Want to Live" project. He transmitted the coordinates of positions to the Ukrainian military for approximately 80 days. Thanks to his information, at least two tanks, four UAV crews, and four mortar crews were destroyed, and an MLRS was hit. After this, the Russian citizen advanced toward Ukrainian positions.
