Ukraine’s air defenses intercepted 279 Russian drones during a large-scale overnight assault, preventing widespread damage across the country. Despite the high interception rate, several drones hit multiple regions, including Kherson, where two people were killed and 16 injured, with additional strikes reported in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv.
