The Ukrainian company Gulfstream demonstrated its high-density polyethylene motorboats to several national defense agencies.
The National Association of the Defense Industry of Ukraine shared this announcement.
As part of the event, Gulfstream conducted a demonstration and field testing of its multipurpose boats for representatives of 16 departments and units of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as for various civilian and humanitarian organizations.
The GS5200TSB and GS6400TSB series boats feature high-strength hulls that are resistant to impacts with sharp rocks at piers or other obstacles. Thanks to the use of high-density polyethylene, they offer high combat durability, radio transparency, and ease of repair.
An additional advantage is their complete unsinkability, achieved by filling the hull volume below the deck with waterproof foam balls.
According to the developers, the boats have an almost unlimited service life, and maintenance is reduced to simple storage, as the hull is resistant to oxygen, water, salts, oils, and fuel.

The GS5200TSB and GS6400TSB boats have already been codified by the Ministry of Defense and approved for use in the Armed Forces. This paves the way for their deployment in landing or transport missions by Ukrainian troops.
There is a significant demand for such equipment both among Armed Forces units operating in the Kherson region and special units of various agencies conducting operations in the Black Sea.
Until now, Ukrainian troops have primarily been supplied with such equipment through deliveries from partner countries or charitable organizations that purchase boats and vessels on the civilian market.

In May, the Ministry of Defense approved the use of Ukrainian rigid inflatable boats from the company Aquaspirit for military operations. These boats feature a durable hull combined with inflatable side tubes.
Tests organized by the Armed Forces Innovation Department confirmed the reliability and effectiveness of the equipment – the boats were approved for use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and may be added to standard military equipment.

Thanks to the support of the Brave1 program and grant funding, the company has scaled up and has already delivered over 100 boats to the Ukrainian military and national police.
