Operators of the 1st Special Purpose Center of Ukraine’s Security Service have destroyed Russian air defenses in Crimea Peninsula and the occupied territories of southeastern Zaporizhzhia region. Video footage of the operation has been released on social media. Visuals capture strikes on Russian military targets in various parts of the frontline. Among the hit targets is Buk-M1 self-propelled medium range surface-to-air missile system, Azovsk oil base, Dzkhankoi air base in Russian-annexed Crimean Peninsula, technical-logistics warehouse, fuel and lubricants materials depot in Zaporizhzhia. The strikes have been launched with the use of Ukraine’s FP-2 drones and highlighted the fact that Russian troops are noticeably lacking ground-based systems in some areas of the frontline. The increased number of Ukrainian drones deployed with the Russian line of sight has also complicated the invader’s defences. Earlier reports said that on March 10, Ukrainian forces also carried out successful strikes on the Kremniy El microelectronics plant in Bryansk, using Short Shadow missiles. Ukraine has stepped up air strikes, involving missiles and drones, in strikes against Russian targets deep in Russia and in occupied parts of Ukraine. Meanwhile, the General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces reported on March 10 that Ukrainian forces clashed with Russian troops in 137 engagements across the front over the past day.
