“Ghost” special unit of Ukraine’s military intelligence, HUR, destroyed a number of Russian military facilities in April. In a statement shared on Thursday, the HUR revealed the key Russian military targets hit in the past month. The HUR revealed that the Ghost unit struck the communication and power supply point for a “Geran” UAV relay station; the “Podlyot-K1” radar system; the MR-231-3 “Voygach” naval radar; the “Baltika-B” naval radar. In addition, an electronic intelligence post, MR-231 system, “Serval” command system, as well as EW and SIGINT assets; an electronic warfare station and surveillance systems of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet; a hardened shelter hangar for a Su-24 aircraft; a hardened shelter hangar for a Su-30 aircraft were struck in Ghost’s operation. Among the hit targets is also a fuel storage tank at the ATAN oil depot and a signals intelligence laboratory located on the roof of the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters building. Video footage shared in social media captures precision strikes on Russian targets in various operations. Ukraine has stepped up long-range drone and missile attacks on Russian military and strategic facilities in occupied parts of Ukraine and in Russian territory as continuation of efforts to undermine the Kremlin’s war efforts amid lack of progress in peace negotiations.
