The “Lasar’s Group” unit of the Ukrainian National Guard detected and struck a Russian S-300V surface-to-air missile system in Belgorod Oblast. After the unit’s aerial reconnaissance operators identified the location of the system—used to protect Russian military equipment and infantry—strike drones were deployed to the area. Precision strikes destroyed the system’s launcher, leaving that section of Russian airspace without protection. It should be noted that the destruction of Russian air defense systems by Ukrainian forces enables drones and aircraft to operate more freely, making it possible to intensify strikes on Russian territory.
