An overnight Russian attack on Ukraine’s southern city of Odesa wounded 20 people, local authorities reported. According to Associated Press Oleh Kiper, head of Odesa’s military administration, said a Russian strike damaged dozens of civilian sites including residential houses, a kindergarten, a hotel, parking lot and vehicles. The strike caused a large fire, the state emergency service reported. Ukraine’s air force said Russia had launched one ballistic missile and 206 drones at the country since 6 p.m. on Wednesday, of which 172 drones were downed or neutralised. One missile and 32 drones hit 22 locations, it added.
