Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Saturday that Ukraine is ready to meet with Russian representatives for trilateral talks in Azerbaijan.
"We are also ready for the upcoming negotiations in Azerbaijan, if Russia is ready for diplomacy," he said during the press conference with the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
According to Associated Press Zelenskyy arrived in Azerbaijan on Saturday with a team of experts to share Ukrainian military expertise, he said in a post on Telegram.
"I began my visit to Azerbaijan with a meeting with our expert team, who are sharing Ukrainian experience in protecting the sky," he said.
Ukraine and Azerbaijan also signed documents signalling deeper co-operation on defence, security, energy and humanitarian issues.
