One of the worst nuclear disasters in history changed the world forever.
On April 26, 1986, Reactor 4 at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant exploded, leaving lasting devastation still felt today.
Ahead of the 40th anniversary of the disaster, TVP World’s Klaudia Czerwińska traveled to the Exclusion Zone, visiting the plant, the original sarcophagus, and speaking to witnesses, residents and medical staff who were there on the night of the disaster.
