DENVER (KDVR) — An 18-year-old was arrested and is facing charges related to a possible sexual assault of a child at Pirates Cove Water Park.
The Englewood Police Department said in a press release that officers were dispatched to the waterpark at about 5 p.m. for a sexual assault in progress. Officers identified and detained a suspect who was still inside the park.
It was alleged that the suspect led a girl into a family changing room where he sexually assaulted her.
The agency told FOX31 the suspect arrested on Monday is Trenton Moskovita, 18. He was booked into the Arapahoe County Jail on suspicion of sexual assault on a child and second-degree kidnapping.
He’s scheduled to appear in court on July 11 for a return filing of charges, and remained in Arapahoe County custody on a $200,000 cash or surety bond as of Tuesday evening.
