(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested after allegedly kidnapping and sexually assaulting a teen at gunpoint in Vacaville, police said.
According to the Vacaville Police Department, on July 6, a 16-year-old girl reported that she had been attacked by a man near the 100 block of West Monte Vista Avenue.
Police said responding officers found and arrested the suspect, a 38-year-old Vacaville resident, around 11:15 a.m. that day.
According to police, the suspect does not appear to have other connections to the victim.
The man was booked into the Solano County Jail on multiple felony charges related to the reported sexual assault and kidnapping, police said.
