CLEVELAND (WJW) — A 25-year-old man is dead, and another person was hurt, after an overnight shooting at Euclid Beach Park.
The shooting took place at about 12:40 a.m. on Thursday.
According to the Cleveland Metroparks Police Chief, a large crowd of people, believed to be around the ages of 18 and 20, had gathered after the park had closed.
Police found one victim on a sidewalk near the beach, and another victim was found shot in the high-rise apartments next to the park. Both were transported by EMS. Officials said the 25-year-old later died. The other victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
FOX 8’s Jessica Dill reported from the scene early Thursday and said a large crime scene had been taped off.
