A 19-year-old woman has been booked for murder in the death of a man found with gunshot wounds on Pacific Coast Highway last month, Long Beach police said Tuesday.
The victim, 19-year-old Jordan Mosby of Atwater, was pronounced dead after being found May 27 on the 200 block of East Pacific Coast Highway with a gunshot wound to his upper body.
“Through their investigation, Homicide detectives identified the suspect as Deriana Cole, a 19-year-old female resident of Compton,” the Police Department stated in its news release Tuesday.
Cole was found to already be in custody at the Long Beach City Jail on an unrelated charge, police said.

She was re-booked, this time for murder, and had her bail set at $2 million, according to the news release.
Investigators said the motive for the shooting was still under investigation.
