PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Residents in the Hazelwood neighborhood of NE Portland have been told to shelter in place Wednesday morning as police search for armed carjacking suspects.
Authorities responded to the area of NE 108th Avenue and Hassalo Street around 4 a.m. after hearing of a carjacking. The car was soon located near 1300 NE 114th Avenue.
When officers found the car, they saw the suspects flee into the neighborhood, according to initial reports.
Anyone with information about these suspects is encouraged to call 911.
