Crews respond to explosion at NJ fruit and vegetable processing plant

UPPER DEERFIELD TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPHL) — Police, HAZMAT, and multiple fire departments are responding to a reported explosion at a fruit and vegetable processing plant in Cumberland County.

According to New Jersey State Police, crews responded around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Seabrook Brothers & Sons Inc. on Finley Road in Upper Deerfield Township. The incident was originally reported as a wall collapse.

As of 2:45 p.m., it is unclear if anyone has been hurt.
