SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — An E-bike rider was involved in a crash with a truck in Salt Lake City Monday morning, according to Salt Lake City Police.
“We are investigating a crash involving a person on an e-bike and a passenger truck at 500 S Redwood Road,” a press release from SLCPD states.
The crash reportedly happened around 9:45 a.m. this morning, June 30. The E-biker has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The passenger truck driver remained on scene, police said. Redwood Rd. is reportedly closed in both directions from 400-500 South.
“We expect the closure to last for 90 mins,” SLCPD stated.
