Early morning shooting leaves one dead, three injured in KCMO

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – KCMO Police were called to 24^th and Lister just after 2:00 a.m. Saturday morning to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene they found one man, in a parking lot, that had been shot. Officers requested paramedics and began first aid on the victim. The victim was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

At the scene officers were notified of three additional victims who had been shot at the location.

One victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle, a second victim was located at a residence near 39^th and Chelsea and was taken to the hospital by ambulance, and the third victim was found at 19^th and Oak and was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Detectives are at the scene looking for any witnesses that can provide any information about what led to the shooting of the four victims.
