CREEDMOOR, N.C. (WNCN) — Deputies and police worked together in a drug raid Thursday that led to a Creedmoor felon’s arrest on several charges, including six felony drug charges, officials said.
The raid happened at 219 Oak Street in Creedmoor when police, the Granville County Sheriff’s Office, and the Person County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant, according to a Creedmoor Police Department news release.
Police said at least two agencies worked on the case over “several weeks” leading up to Thursday’s raid.
“An operation like this is only possible with the dedicated efforts of multiple agencies,” Creedmoor Police Chief Troy Wheless said in the news release.

At least two guns were found during the raid, according to a photo released of seized items. Satterwhite, a convicted felon, was not allowed to possess any firearms, police said. Of the guns found, one was stolen, officers said.

Officials said Joshua Lamont Satterwhite, 44, was arrested and faces the following charges:
- Felony possession of cocaine
- Felony possession of schedule VI controlled substance
- Felony possession of schedule I controlled substance
- Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, & deliver schedule VI controlled substance
- Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, & deliver schedule I controlled substance
- Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, & deliver marijuana
- Felony possession of a firearm by felon
- Felony possession of stolen firearm
- Felony possession of vehicle with altered/removed serial number
- Misdemeanor possession of marijuana
- Misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia

Satterwhite is being held in the Granville County Detention Center under a $105,000 secured bond.
