(FOX40.COM) — One firefighter was injured and six people were displaced after an apartment fire in north Sacramento on Thursday, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

Crews said units from Metro Fire and Sacramento City Fire responded to the fire around 9:20 a.m. on 2929 Edison Avenue.
The fire was contained to two apartments, however, a firefighter was left with minor injuries and is being evaluated.
According to Metro Fire, six people were displaced and are being assisted by the Red Cross.
