(FOX40.COM) — Two adults and a child were displaced after a fire at an apartment complex on Monday in South Sacramento, according to the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District.

Crews responded to a fire that happened on the exterior patio and extended into the interior of the residence on Florin Wood Drive.
Metro Fire said crews prevented the fire from spreading to neighboring units.
Two adults and one child were displaced and will receive help from the apartment complex.
No one was injured and the cause is currently under investigation.
