SPANISH FORK, Utah (ABC4) — A man died from his injuries following a crash involving a motorcycle and a truck in Spanish Fork.
According to a press release from Spanish Fork, the first call reporting the crash came in around 3:36 p.m. Wednesday. Officers were called to the intersection of 600 East and 300 South in Spanish Fork.
The crash involved a motorcycle and a truck. The driver of the motorcycle, a man in his 60s, died from his injuries at the scene.
Officers are still determining the cause of the crash and “working to gather all the facts to understand what happened,” according to the press release. Officials say more information will be released when it becomes available.
“Our hearts go out to this man’s family and loved ones during this tragic time,” Chief Matt Johnson is quoted in the release.
This is the third fatal accident involving a motorcycle in Utah this week. The other two crashes both involved 23-year-old victims, one crash occurred in American Fork and the other in West Valley City.
