ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – A motorcyclist was fatally struck Thursday morning in a hit-and-run crash in south St. Louis County, police say.
The crash happened around 5 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of South Broadway and Hoffmeister Avenue.
The St. Louis County Police Department reports, based on preliminary findings, the motorcyclist was involved in a crash with the driver of another vehicle that left the scene.
The motorcyclist was sent to a hospital for treatment, though he later died from his injuries.
Police have not disclosed the age or identity of the motorcyclist, and it’s unclear what led up to the crash.
