COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — One person is dead and multiple others are injured after a shooting early Friday morning during a party at an east Columbus Airbnb.
Columbus police said that officers were called to an Airbnb at the 800 block of Wilson Avenue in the Old Oaks area at 2:41 a.m. An altercation occurred during a party at the residence which led to multiple shots being fired and six people sustaining injuries.
Three were taken to local hospitals by medics with one victim being pronounced dead after being transported. Police said the victim that died was a juvenile. Three others that were hurt walked into a hospital for treatment.
Of the six victims of the shooting, two were juveniles and four were adults.
Police is continuing to investigate to determine a possible suspect and has yet to release victim identities at this time.
