(FOX40.COM) — Sacramento police are investigating a death in Sacramento on Saturday evening.
The Sacramento Police Department responded to reports of “a person down” at around 6 p.m.
According to SPD, when officers arrived near a levee near the 50 block of Main Avenue and Bell Avenue, they found a man who had sustained one gunshot wound.
SPD stated that the homicide detectives and crime scene investigators are responding to conduct a death investigation to determine if this was a homicide.
