CLEVELAND (WJW) — The HEAT ADVISORY remains in effect for Tuscarawas, Carroll and Coshocton counties until 8 p.m. today.
Also, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Lake and Geauga counties until 1:15 p.m. 60 MPH winds possible as these storms roll through.

Once again we’re monitoring shower and thunderstorm activity mainly during the heat of the day and then another round overnight night with a cold front. This front will bring a more tolerable summer feel to our area just in time for the weekend.
Friday Futurecast: Storms developing across the eastern 1/2/southern areas along the warm front.

Saturday, a line of storms in the afternoon along the cold front and mainly in the southeastern portion of our viewing area.

Slow-moving hunderstorms/downpours will lead to quick 1-2″ with locally higher amounts in small areas.

Heat shifts west late this week/weekend and especially next week. Highs look to be in the 70s/lower 80s as we approach 4th of July weekend!
