Subway service suspended after person hit by subway train in Brooklyn: MTA

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — A person was struck by a subway train in Brooklyn Thursday afternoon, according to the MTA.

The incident happened at the High Street station around 1:30 p.m.

Service on the C line has been suspended in both directions. There is also no A service between Chambers Street and Broadway Junction stations.

The last stop on the uptown A trains is Broadway Junction. The last stop on the downtown A trains will be World Trade Center via the E line.

Commuters are encouraged to use B, D, F, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains for service between Brooklyn and Manhattan.

NYPD investigations are ongoing.
