(FOX40.COM) — The victims in a fatal double shooting in Elk Grove were identified as the brother and father of the suspect, the Elk Grove Police Department said.
According to police, 51-year-old Russell Battaglia and 19-year-old Christian Battaglia were found dead inside a home on Triplefin Way around 5:30 a.m. on Monday.
Detectives determined that the shooting was the result of an argument between family members.
Police identified Noah Battaglia, 18, as the suspect and arrested him at a home in South Sacramento later that day.
Battaglia was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail on two counts of homicide.
