Woman wanted for attempting to buy $2,600 in gift cards, Raleigh police say

RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A woman is wanted for attempting to illegally purchase $2,600 worth of gift cards earlier this month, the Raleigh Police Department said.

According to Raleigh police, the woman used two stolen credit cards when she attempted to buy the gift cards. A Taurus 9mm handgun was also stolen.

Surveillance photos show the incident happened on June 12, just before 5 p.m.

The woman is seen in the surveillance footage wearing a black T-shirt and jeans in the photos, with tattoos on both of her forearms.
