Donald Trump says there will be a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
In a post on Truth Social, the US president said a ceasefire would begin approximately six hours from now.
He has congratulated Israel and Iran on having the “stamina, courage and intelligence” to end what he said should be called “the 12 day war”.
Earlier, Trump called Iran’s retaliatory attack on a US air base in Qatar an expected and very weak response to the US bombing of three nuclear sites over the weekend.
