South Australia on high alert for invasive tree-killing pest | ABC NEWS

Australia is trying to manage the potential spread of polyphagous shot-hole borer, which is known to devastate about 400 different tree species.
The beetle has been detected in WA and authorities are trying to keep it out of neighbouring states.
SA’s primary industries department is working with local councils, nurseries, and growers, to help identify signs of the borer and how to treat it.
