U.S. President Donald Trump is returning to Washington from the G7 summit in Kananaskis, Alta., a day earlier than expected.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt wrote on X on Monday evening that Trump’s sudden exit was due to the escalating conflict in the Middle East. That’s an apparent reference to the Iran-Israel conflict, and follows Trump’s warning on social media for residents of Tehran to immediately evacuate.
