Ukrainian military captured two Cameroonian citizens who fought against Ukraine on the side of the Russian aggressor.
This was reported on the Facebook page of the 20th separate regiment of unmanned systems K-2 . The representatives of the African country were captured by fighters of the K-2 battalion together with the 118th territorial defense brigade and two other battalions of the 54th separate mechanized brigade – the first rifle and the first mechanized.
The captured Cameroonians claim that they went to Russia to make shampoo and get dental treatment.
"However, at the airport of the Russian capital they were met not as saviors from fat and dandruff, but as cheap substitutes for combat Vankas. This is substantially less than the regime offers its own citizens, though still decent money for Cameroon", the report says.
One of the captured Cameroonians said that he was a teacher and had come to Russia to get his teeth treated. However, upon arrival in Russia, he and several other people were taken to the Migration Service office, where they took their fingerprints and a jaw cast. Anatole Frank noted that he did not want to sign a contract with the Russian Defense Ministry, but he was not allowed to go back.
"We arrived at 8am, they released us at 4pm. When we came out, there were two soldiers. There was a car outside, they put us in it. They took me to an unknown destination. We traveled for almost two days. We arrived at a building where they locked us in for two more days. It was a building of about 11 floors. A few days later, they dressed us in military uniforms and said, ‘You are joining the army.’ I said I wanted to go back, but they made me sign a contract," he claims.
According to him, when he got to the front, he was ordered to go forward and three days later he was captured. It is noted that when he got to the Ukrainian military and they were going to transport him, a munition was dropped on them.
Another Cameroonian explains the signing of the contract by financial factors.
Both prisoners claim that they did not kill anyone. They expressed a desire to return to Cameroon, not to Russia.
