Drone pilots from the 1st Azov Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine have begun systematically striking the supply routes of Russian forces around Donetsk and inside the city.
The corps’ press service reported this on its social media pages.
Strike drones are being активно used on roads near the towns of Zuhres, Andriivka, Starobesheve, Horlivka, and Lysychansk, as well as along the Donetsk ring road.
The released video also demonstrates that Ukrainian drones are capable of operating directly in Donetsk, more than 50 kilometers from the front line.
In particular, footage from the drone captured the Donbas Arena stadium, located in the center of the occupied city.
The 1st Azov Corps emphasizes that the successful work of UAV operators in the deep operational zone indicates the ineffectiveness of Russia’s airspace control and air defense systems in this area.

Ukrainian drones primarily target Russian trucks transporting military personnel, ammunition, and other supplies, as well as fuel tankers.
“Not long ago, the Russian invaders felt completely safe there. But from now on, all military targets moving along the roads around Donetsk will be destroyed,” the unit emphasized.
In February, drone operators from the Ivan Franko Group unit carried out FPV drone strikes on Russian logistics vehicles at a depth of about 60 km on the outskirts of Donetsk.

Drones also targeted Russian military logistics in Avdiivka, Yasynuvata, and Mineralne.

In addition, on the night of April 14, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck storage sites for Russian strike drones in the area of the Donetsk Airport.
The mission was carried out by Ukrainian Air Force aircraft. To hit the targets, the military used SCALP cruise missiles and GBU-39 guided bombs.
